The global pandemic has slapped everyone hard in the face. No one would have ever seen it coming. Everyone has struggled but in very different ways. From furloughing staff, factory outbreaks, and businesses going bust. It has been difficult for everyone and hard to adjust to the new norm.

Despite all the negatives and hardship, this pandemic has brought, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought some positives with it. Many people sit and dwell on the negatives but at this time we need to think about the positives that have come from the past year and a half.

Here are some positives that have been a result of the pandemic.

  • The pandemic has given businesses time to rethink and revamp their business approach.
  • Working remotely. Employers have more trust in their employees to work remotely from home which means more opportunities for people.
  • The pandemic has brought businesses closer together. There is growing support for small businesses.
  • People have had time to focus on things they didn’t have time to do before. For example, health, fitness, relationships, etc.
  • Positive impact on the environment. Global carbon emissions are down, and the planet has had a chance to revitalise as manufacturing and air travel have come to a halt.
