For a number of years, we've been accredited with the Cyber Essentials Certification. This Government-backed and industry-supported scheme helps businesses protect themselves and clients against the growing threat of cyber-attacks.
The certification is designed to provide a statement of the controls an organisation should have in place to mitigate the risk from common cyber threats. It also allows organisations to demonstrate that they have taken these precautions by achieving Cyber Essentials accreditation.
So, what exactly does this mean for our clients?
Apart from the key benefits of improved security across our systems, there is also a strong commercial case for achieving the accreditation.
Certain contracts, particularly those dealing with personal data, require agencies to be accredited by the scheme. It also provides reassurance for all of our clients that we take cybersecurity seriously.
Although the robust procedures we have in place cannot 100% mitigate against cyber attacks, as with any other business or agency, it does mean we have maximum security measures in place to decrease our risk significantly.
The certification gives a clear picture of our agency’s cybersecurity level and it also increases our scope for clients seeking digital marketing and web development services, as Cyber Essentials is sometimes a mandatory requirement.
