Wow! It’s been quite a year at Red Giraffe HQ. We’ve seen significant growth in not only our client base but our team too! We’ve welcomed new team members, Lee, Lauren, Sian, Seo expert Asim, and Kate. Each team member is a specialist in their own field. And that really was the direction we wanted Red Giraffe to go. By having accomplished web designers, an experienced copywriter, an SEO professional, a PPC expert and a skilled customer service executive, we can offer our clients a premium, well-rounded service.
With an increase of 40% in web design clients year on year, we’ve been busy bees launching both brand-new websites and revamped ones. As well as perfecting our client’s websites, we’ve also successfully launched our own updated site. Our senior website designer Lee worked tirelessly at the back end of the year to get Red Giraffe’s website looking sleek and on point. And we love it! The new site reflects our drive for superior service and professionalism.
Alongside our web design functionality, we’ve been busy generating leads for our PPC customers, writing blogs and improving website rankings for our SEO clients. One of our clients saw a 271% improvement in their Google rankings, which was a leap of 312 places. Another client had a huge jump of 727 places. There’s something extremely satisfying in watching those numbers go up and client’s finding themselves on page 1 of Google!
As well as a website revamp, our office has had a little facelift too. We added more indoor plants to improve the air quality and provide a calming environment. We also considered a unit to hold all our awards, having collected gold for Website of the Year and Silver for Corporate Social Responsibility at this year’s SMEs.
When our MD Joe Gilbert wasn’t liaising with our clients, he could be found this year climbing Snowdon and Mont Blanc or walking our adorable mascot Cilka. He’s also been extremely busy launching MK Green Businesses. The idea behind the venture is to bring together and collaborate with other climate-positive companies in Milton Keynes to promote sustainable ideas. We’ve hosted 3 fantastic Green events so far and really got everyone thinking and acting on ways to lower their carbon footprint. Red Giraffe prides itself on being an eco-friendly web design agency. In total, we’ve funded a massive 115 trees to be planted to offset the CO2 we used during business practices. We even influenced one of our clients to join us on our sustainability mission and sign up to more:trees and Ecologi!
We couldn’t be happier with everything we’ve achieved in 2022. As we wind down towards our Christmas break, the whole team would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and New Year. Red Giraffe will be closing our office at 5pm on Thursday 22nd December and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
