We are excited to announce that Red Giraffe has now re-branded as Giraffe Digital!
It’s been ten years since Joe Gilbert first started the company from his kitchen table, with nothing more than a phone and a laptop. Back then the name Red Giraffe was quirky, unique, and easy to remember.
But now it seems the coloured-animal company name has been done to death – silver salmon, pink panda, blue baboon, you name it, there’s a coloured animal business for it! It’s no longer unique and it doesn’t stand out anymore, which is what we’re all about as a marketing agency – standing out!
Furthermore, we’ve increasingly developed our sustainability focus in recent years, and with our new B-Corp certification last year, everyone kept saying “why red? Why not Green Giraffe?” And they have a point.
In addition to that, when we first started out we were primarily a web design agency; one colour for one service. However, these days our core focus is predominantly digital marketing; web design is actually a very small part of what we do now. We now offer a multitude of services, which is why a single colour is no longer appropriate.

Our new logo is designed to incorporate a multitude of colours to represent a variety of services. It represents complexity wrapped up in simplicity, which is what we’re all about – taking the complex world of digital marketing and making it simple.
We’ve evolved, and it’s time our branding evolved with it. From the 1st February, we’re changing to Giraffe Digital to reflect our digital focus, but you can just call us Giraffe for short 😉 However, whilst our brand may be changing, our same core values of quality, service, reliability and sustainability hold as true as they always did.
